The original Olympics games were played in the nude, as well as wrestling matches, from what I've read. And bi/homosexuality was more common than you know. I used to have a book called "Strange and Unusual Sex Acts" that detailed all weird things sexual. Men tended to take lovers during wars; a couple who watched each other's backs during battle also warmed each other's backs at night. Then went bah to their wives at war's end.
Romans, Greeks, and Italians had a system where an older man would "mentor" a boy between 12 and 16,seeing to his physical and educational needs. When the boy was old enough to go to university, the man would pay for the expenses, and the relationship usually ended once the boy ^deemed eligible for marriage. Seems like any man on man action was accepted as long as the guys got married and procreated. Lesbianism was also a big deal, often with men away at war, in certain religions, and, for slaves, at the whim of their owners for entertainment. And don't even get me started on their beastiality(sp?)practices!
So...yeah.
