Hayley shouldn't have been kicked out of college

The third season made a huge deal about how terrified Hayley was of not getting into college. Then she finally got in, only to be kicked out a few episodes later. And they were all so casual about it, it seems like they forgot what a big deal it was. I know the show needs Hayley, but they could've still kept her in college and showed her adventures in college every episode, kinda like Francis in Malcolm In The Middle.

it didn't make sense that someone so braindead could continue and succeed in higher learning

That's true, it would not have been realistic for someone that dumb to last in college. Even people who coast through high school with little effort get a rude awakening once college starts.

Hense why she went to community college instead

I didn't do squat in high school, and eventually dropped out. Later, I went to college, worked hard, had a perfect GPA throughout, and graduated with high honors. I saw plenty of students there who were far dumber than Haley--the kind who jumped with joy if they passed with a C.

As for community college: I took several classes there before I moved on to a university, and some of the professors were excellent and dedicated, even better than many of their university counterparts. The quality of college education, whether it's junior or four-year, is mostly dependent on how seriously you take it and how much work you put into it. In the long run prestige, cost of tuition, and NCAA status don't mean much.
