Modern Family Still funny?
I don't know about anyone else, but the shows this season, 2017, don't seem very humorous to me.

last night was a miss imo. It's still entertaining. I don't struggle to get through it. They do seem lost as to what they should do with the kids.
shareThey need to do something drastic to give themselves fresh material... break up Cameron and Mitch or Jay and Gloria for a season, switching Haley's bf or hooking Alex up with Claire's worker isn't big enough.

Last nights episode was such a weird episode. The whole Cam/Mitch thing wasn't funny.
I agree completely. It was difficult for me to finish watching the most recent episode. It was disjointed and, again, not funny. I remember when the series was hysterical. I laughed out loud nearly every show. Not anymore.
shareit was odd, like 3 vignettes that weren't necessarily trying to be comedy but more about the show trying out something "new" like that episode that took place on claire's laptop...except that episode actually worked
I've liked it all the way up the these last episodes of the final season. It seems forced and unfunny, as if they've completely lost the knack. On top of that, they've been ramping up the sentiment towards a "very special" finale, which is spoiling what was once a refreshingly irreverent show.
