The reason Kari Ann refused to go to a different center . . .

. . . is because there wouldn't have been any cameras there. All that stuff about, "I've gotten to trust everybody here" and "I love everybody here" when KA was asked why she didn't want to see the other doctor was obviously complete BS.

"I wanted to look my best, so I put on my tiger briefs and did a sit-up." The Critic

I know! How could she even say that she wanted to stay because she "loved" the people when she treated them all like crap?

according to kendra, kari ann had finally started to open up and join the process. we who watched the show can see that she barely had one toe in, but if kendra feels that she was opening up we can assume that kari ann, compared to how she has been her entire life, felt she was opening up too.
every single patient in that rehab was there to be on a television show and get a paycheck. don't get it twisted. none of them wanted to go to a regular rehab without cameras. they want to be in show business, and they got on the show through their agents.

In KA's defense, shocking I know! lol They only show us what's going to keep us coming back for more, so I think KA could very well have started opening up. From the beginning she was dubbed atagonist/public enemy #1, so for the most part that's all they showed in regards to KA. I still think she needed the boot, because her behaviour was atrocious, but I hope she gets the help she needs. I'd hate for the next headline of her to be her starring in a role she created for herself...death.

FYI: according to Duncan's blog KA was only there for TEN DAYS!! they were in treatment for 3 weeks.

So in 10 days this chic provided enough drama to last an entire season...yeah she needed to go LOL

Jammin on the one, Ja ja ja Jammin on the one

well 10 days is like half the time they were there, most of which would consist of them sitting around doing nothing or getting along which would never make the show.

OK. We all saw how Kari Ann behaved, so let's really analyze this for
a moment or two. I would say that she is a really great actress or....
she really needs some major league help as in... growing up and learning
to just get along with other humans who just happen to inhabit the planet,
no matter how better she may believe that she is than everyone else that
she comes in contact with.

Good luck Kari Ann.

I think she assumed because she did a little, like the painting, she was going to open up. She wasn't. She just did enough right there to stay.

I agree. KA tried to milk this show for all she could get out it. Which isn't much.

reply

well it must've worked. it earned her a spot on celebrity rehab.

reply

it definitely worked. and anyone remember in the beginning when she wanted to go home and called her manager and he was saying something like "no, you can't leave, if you do its over." who else thinks he was definitely talking about her "career" and not her addiction. like this is the last chance you got to get your ugly mug out there.

reply

Completely agree. That manager showed no interest in keeping her in rehab to get better, he just kept saying she had to stay in rehab because if she left, she couldn't come back, and then it would be over. She did put on a good show at the end in playing the remorseful card, but Dr. Drew did the right thing.
