at 1:32 in the movie, when Vera was workin saving the Huns , she conversed in German with one if the dying soldiers in the hut.

Can someone please translate what is being said ?
Quite irritating when they don't have subtitles

As he was dying he hallucinated that he was talking to his love and asked for her forgiveness.

Vera was well-read, but the question of how she gained her knowledge of German appears unanswered. Maybe I missed it.

I know only some basic German, but I knew enough that she was reassuring him by saying: "I am here."
