I LOVED IT!
And for the first time, in a long time, I liked Kristen Scott Thomas.

I thought this was one of the most perfect movies I've ever seen. Everyone was outstanding. Ewan was adorable and hilarious. Thomas was so, so good in her role. I actually do like her usually.

Absolutely agree - also about Kristin Scott Thomas. Normally don't like her but she was terrific in this.
Simply a lovely Brit movie with great acting. Enjoyed every minute
I'm in love with the movie, though I need to add that it is a Lasse Hallström film- the guy did Chocolate, What's Eating Gilbert Grape...He's the king of charming and adorable :):)

Kristin Scott Thomas brilliant in an offbeat role.
The actor who portrayed the Sheikh had a strong screen presence, hope he gets plum roles in the future like in this movie.
This is the second British movie that gave me immeasurable pleasant viewing experience, the first one was The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel just before the end of last June. I find British movies quite delightful to watch when it's related to other countries and with topics not mainly about war.
