why mike said to Kasia "she's just gonna blow us all away"

the night when skunk disappear, mike phoned Kasia and told that Skunk is terrific kid and someday she's just gonna blow us all away.. what's that mean?
I guess it's just an expression saying her achievement in life is going to surpass everyone, despite the health condition she has.
