Too much to say but i think it was about Empathy amongst the best and worst of human beings.
She simply wanted to taste what we have already and gave herself over just to taste for a few moments just that.
Also how we judge by beauty.
Yeah, a fantastic film that work on so man levels, almost subliminally and hypnotically!

I gave it a strong 7/10. Will be re-watching after having read the novel and may re-rate.
This is one of those rare cases where I enjoy the movie more than the book.

Yeah it was one viscerally affecting piece of filmmaking and i love how many questions are left provocatively unanswered.

I was so desperate to reactivate my old amazon video online which was on my old blue ray DVD - just so O could watch it again! The 2nd and 3rd time watching it was just as rewarding as the 1st. It's visual candy including ScarJo''s. Watch it!
