When Martha was staying at her sister's and she rang the Cult Number was she trying to let them know where she was and was she trying to get her sister into danger?
Had the cult already found her at that stage?
It's been a couple of years since I saw the movie and I can't remember thanks.
At this stage in the film Martha had just argued with Ted and was thinking about going back to the cult, but then when she rang them she got scared and hung up the phone, and this led to her paranoia going up even more because she was scared they would find her after that.
And nope the cult had not found her at that stage and she certainly wasn't trying to put anyone into any danger.
Her sister was so atrocious I could see why she, for a moment, wanted to go back to the cult. I did wonder that myself. They did a great job with the paranoia aspect.
