The power of false advertising

"If you liked flight of the conchords, you'll love this!"

Yeeaaahhhh, not really. Aside from the trickery of making prominent the fact this film contains the stars of FotC (Jermaine and Murray are barely there, sneakily put in at the beggining to make you think they'll be in the rest), the comedy isn't even akin to that in FotC.

The female lead is a babe though, and actually its not the worst film in the world.

I agree with the original poster. The FotC guys were advertised to get viewers. The three of them were excellent, but then you had to sit through the rest of the movie.

Jessica Grace Smith was very good. I hope to see more of her in the future.

I also hope to see more of Suze Tye. I think she completely stole the show. Not only is she drop dead gorgeous, but she also did the best job of acting. She reminds me of Monica Bellucci.

Overall the movie deserves a 4 out of 10. Because of the above five mentioned people, that 4 raises to a high 6.

I also bought the film because of the FOTC element. I was thoroughly disapointed with the screen time Jermaine and Rhys got but apart from that, thought it wasn't a bad film.

CAN YOU DIG IT!!!???

Me too!!!!

But it was ok, and i got it quite cheap off Amazon. All in all i'd say that the fun little cameos and some points of the story were good.

I'm thinking a 5/10 is fair. although maybe a 4 would be more level headed.
