Oh Come On!!! Cancelled..??
Seriously? ABC puts out and cancels new shows every 5 seconds, at least see 1 show through! This show was really good and the cast was so great. It didn't even get a chance with only what...5 episodes? ABC sucks.

On February 18, 2010, it was reported that the series had been cancelled.[5] However, it was later verified that ABC has not cancelled the show nor made a decision about its future.[6]
Maybe not til April or May when they check on the other pilots they've ordered!!
shareJust goes to show you how these television networks are so clueless, (and I just don't want to denigrate the ABC suits. CBS and NBC are just as bad).
This show was so refreshing, intelligent, well-written, and well-acted. It reminds me of "LA Law" back in the late 80's when that show first came on network television. Why in the world would ABC replace it after only 5 episodes? They apparently have decided to go back to that garbage show "Flash Forward" and air more original episodes of that idiotic show. Is ABC catering to those people in society who believe that the world is going to end within the next year? The movie 2012 was bad enough, so the idiots who run the network believe that America wants to watch a similar sci-fi show every week?
It seems as if all one needs to run a network is earn a degree in stupidity. ABC regularly trots out such intelligent shows as Wife Swap, Super Nanny, Cougar Town; polluting the television weekly. Yet, recently they have chosen to either cancel or air limited episodes of shows like The Deep End, Ugly Betty, (which they have moved to 3 different time slots within a calender year), and Pushing Daisies. All of these shows were innovative and fresh thinking. I can't make that same statement for Wife Swap.
Congratulations ABC on your decision to shelve, (either temporarily or permanently) one of the best new shows that you have had on your network in the past several seasons; an accurate description, IMO of The Deep End. It just gives me one more reason to turn away from your network.
First Eastwick, and now this. I looked foward to this damn show every week and now it's canceled?! I am not a fan of many of the shoes ABC has on. Only shows I watch is Modern Family, Cougar town (yes i'm a guy and i love the show, sue me), Eastwick, and Deep end. AND NOW 2 OF THE SHOWS ARE CANCELED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Maybe I'm jinxing it, because every show I like is getting canned
