This Show Is Horrible

Just like The Middle I've been trying to give Hank a chance to settle in and get good, the second episode of The Middle was a lot better than the first, the second episode of Hank was just about as horrible as the first.

It seemed like a good fish out of water type story but so far it's been horrible.

Same here.I have been giving it a shot but I found it painfully bad both weeks.

Have to agree. I am always looking for a good comedy, and Kelsey Grammar has delivered in the past. I can't stand his daughter, the wife doesn't fit him at all. I was watching episode 3 and had to turn it off. Would rather watch "Nanny McPhee" for the 1,000th time and put up with this show.

Even the one good line in this episode about driving the car with his feet - was said so sharply, and meanly that it lost it's humor. What a pity.

It's painfully unwatchable. Particularly the constant jokes about living in the deep south. Why did they choose Virginia? There's little about Virginia that screams "deep south" anymore, save its history, or if you happen to live in the extreme western parts of the state. It's now a bunch of yuppies, some of the worst traffic in the country around D.C and Hampton Roads, and insane property taxes.

I guess they wanted a state identifiable with the south without actually basing it in a southern state.

Anyway, the cast is simply unrelateable and annoying. I know it's supposed to be a fish out of water premise, but no one acts the way they are actually written on this show. No where near. It's simply too difficult to like such pretentious and annoying characters.

The daughter and wife need to be hit by a train. They are simply terrible.

Agreed, except I'm loving "The Middle", it's got a comedy flavour similar to "Malcom in the Middle" and am very much looking forward to more episoded of it.

"Hank" on the other hand I'm bored of it before I even watched the 3rd episode, only watched the 3rd episode as something on in the background whilst I was doing a forums/news sites catchup.

They should have continued that previous show Kelsey was in, "Back to You", that had some good humour.

Totally agree with you, pearshaped! While I'm still watching "Hank" since I love Kelsey Grammer, this is a very bad show. Not funny at all. I LOVED "Back to You" - it was original and very funny but unfortunately didn't get a chance to shine.

Now "Modern Family"? THAT is a great comedy!!!! And the reason I started watching it was cause the weatherman from "Back to You" is on it and he was my favorite character on "BTY."

I loved Back to You. I am a huge fan of Kelsey's but even I have to admit I was relieved to see this show put out of its misery. Positively awful show.

I aim to misbehave!

I'm watching last night's episode. How stupid can you get. I give it 4-5 more before it's cancelled.

I watched the pilot and thought it wasn't a trainwreck, but that it tried too hard (which rings true for a lot of sitcom pilots.)

I missed last week, but yesterday's wasn't too bad. Sometimes, it seemed forced but it's better than a decent number of other sitcoms on right now. If ABC sticks with it, I could see it improving. I won't schedule my nights around it, but if I'm home and I remember it's on, I'll switch over to it.

Now, The Middle I don't like. For one, I'm from Indiana and we're not the out-of-touch losers the show has sometimes makes us out to be. That show is a prime example of trying too hard.

Did I call it, or did I call it??

5 shows and it's out of here. Whew.

It didnt even get a chance which is so wrong. That's why primetime is so in bad shape becuase tv people dont know what there doing. I dont even watch cbs or nbc or abc or cw or fox basically cause it's just boring. :)

I'm sorry, but if you see a terminally suffering animal, you shoot it. They needed to put this piece of stool to rest.
