This is what happens when you play a character for so long like Kelsey did with Frasier.
Two shows cancelled, Hank and Back to You.
There's nothing to cry about though, Kelsey is loaded or he should be from Frasier. He was making a ton of money. His company also produces the show Medium.
He also had Girlfriends and The Game.
I remember when Medium was almost cancelled. Also, I like Back to You.

There's always cbs for him to work on. And that would fit right in with their comedies... they even use laugh tracks. lol
That'd make a good combo with 2 and a half men....How I met your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, 2 and a Half Men... and the kelsey grammer show. That'd work for me!
He should join the cast of Big Bang Theory as a recurring charter who works at the college.

Kelsey is a good actor but bad writing can never make up for that. His last two shows were so bad he couldnt pull them up from the gutter.
Whenever he guest stars on another show, or plays a mutant in a movie he seems great. Probably because those writers know how to take advantage of his talents and arent afraid to make him outrageous.
Thats the problem with being the lead on your own TV show, you generally have to play the straight man and none of the writers wants you to be too ridiculous.
They didnt have that fear on Frasier and it managed to work out for 11 years.
He would do better to move on to writing and producing full time and forget acting for a couple years.
True. I love Frasier and to me, Kelsey will always be Frasier. I don't think he can ever do another sitcom without me seeing Frasier.
shareA lot of actors that we think we can never see as another character do manage to find just the right one and surprise us. Not everyone though. I will never say never to Kelsey if he attempts.
But "Hank"? Seriously, the name did it in, after Frasier how could we ever accept that face and voice as a "Hank"...?
Except for Dr. hank McCoy in X-Men but that's different.
