Did he die?Charlie said they found him,in her flash forward,did she mean they found her dad?

He was running towards the window, and when the building blows up, you can see theres water right next to it, and it sort of looks like a human being is falling dawn into the water. At least that's what i imagine ;)
shareI believe Mark lives but probably develops amnesia or is in a coma for years bc Charlie is a teenager about 16 or 17 years v age. And I think she's talking to her step father Lloyd Simcoe giving him the good news her father is still alive.
shareI believe Charlie was actually talking to younger self in the flash forward. In the first flash forward, Charlie agonized for months because she heard someone say in the flash forward that her dad was dead. Rather than let herself worry again, as soon as the flash forward started the second time, she said, "They found him." To herself. Considering that the finale was shot with the intent to have another season, I do not think they planned to keep Mark away or in a coma for years. Everyone (except those who took him in the helicopter) originally thought Mark was dead, but a few episodes in, they found him. And, because she told herself, Charlie knew they would.
shareBut without a season 2 now you have to believe Hellinger when he said Mark was gonna die anyway.
