Time of the flashforward

The flashforward takes place at 10:00 p.m. April 29th, 2010.

It's not too much of a stretch to have a patient being accepted for a sonogram at that late hour (some doctors work the night shift too, you know)...

Actually it did happen like that too, not just in her flash forward.

That struck me as odd too. I used to work in a Radiology department and no one got Sonograms at 10 p.m. Maybe a Sonographer could be called in late at night for a pregnant woman whose baby was potentially in danger, but a run-of-the-mill Sonogram at 10 p.m. to determine the sex of the baby was pretty unlikely.

I'm on episode 5 now and they just said the blackout happened at 2 a.m. in China I did a Google search to be sure and yeah. 10 p.m. in Los Angeles, where the Series takes place is apparently 1 p.m. in China according to Google. China is big, but I don't think its time zones span 11 hours, so that's impossible. I like the show, but it's hard to ignore some of these unlikely-hoods and blatant impossibilities.
