The timeline board plus the ending doesn't make sense.

On the timeline board that the guy had, all of them ended up stopping at 2016 at pressumibly the end of the world, every single one pointed to that, The End. In the ending during the Final Flash Forward, we see Charlie, who is probably around 6 normally, but looked at least 16 or so in the flash forward, i think it all happened in April 2010, that means that the new flash forward would of taken place after 2016, but all of the timelines lead to 2016 as it being the end of the world.

We may never know what the future held for "FlashForward", as the writers had originally planned a six-season arc for this show if it had continued. I really wish the writers could have at least told us what would have happened instead of giving us flashes of pictures of events that could possibly happen in the far-off future (since in "Future Shock" not all of everyone's flashes came true). It's possible that particular flash was just a possible future seeing Charlie several years later, and that D. Gibbons' board was the real true future after all, but we'll never know for certain now...

No, it never said the end of the world, it only said the end. Just that.
