It's been three years, and I still miss this show.

Ugh. It would of been on Season 5 by now if it never got cancelled. Damn.

Just re-watched it, loved it, when it first aired.

I don't know, if it would have ever made it that far. Maybe two or three seasons. And maybe knowing about the end soon enough, so it wouldn't end on a cliffhanger..

Imagine you just re-watched this, and less than a month later, the actor who acted as Big Al and who killed himself in ep 7, actually killed himself in real life, on August 19th. Lee Thompson Young was so young, only 29. So sad. I never watched the show, but I'm going to look for it on Netflix and watch it.

This is my signature and I'm sticking to it. lol

It's not on Netflix, but it is on Hulu

reply

I don't get Hulu (I'm not in the US), but I do get Netflix, although it's not on MY Netflix. A poster said he got it on Netflix, but maybe that's straight in the US. (When you're out of the US, most times you can't get all the shows that normally those living in the US do get).

The ability to always see the worst in people and situations is often a hiding place for fear.

I'm in the U.S. And we don't have it on Netflix. And yeah it sorta sucks that you guys don't get what we do here in the states. I used to do customer service for Netflix and that was a regular complaint.

"It's not on Netflix, but it is on Hulu"

Not true. I just re-watched entire season 1 (and only) on 5 Netflix DVDs.

Enjoy!

reply

That's only on DVDs though. I only do streaming, as most people do these days, and DVDs are only available in the US.

When I first rewatched this show it was on Netflix, I looked like a year ago and saw they didn't have it and didn't get a subscription because of it. lol

TOP 5:
1 Dominic Monaghan
2 Damon Albarn
3 Ewan McGregor
4 John Cho
5 Misha Collins

I loved the show when it aired, but it definitely had some problems: too many main characters (hello LOST!), some really convenient plot devices that had me rolling my eyes etc. However, the premise was solid, I think that this would have been a perfect show to have a limited run of, say, three seasons with.

I just watched it for the first time on Netflicks.. couldn't stop watching, it was sad knowing that those episodes were "it". I find SciFi has a hard time in main stream TV. People seem to prefer 3 or 4 versions of CSI than something original and thought provoking. Ah well.

Yep... AND we are sneaking up on the "End of Time" date in 2016. :-O

TV doesn't much like to reboot, especially 1 season shows (whoops), but with a better team, a savvy social media presence and a creative app ... makes me wonder if FlashForward could find an audience.

I mean look at the stuff SyFy channel is apparently able to make money doing these days. hehe.

Oh well.
