Does anyone know if seasons 5 and 6 will never make it to DVD ? i hate when they stop producing half way through :( i noticed not even season 4 was released in US ? did the changing of network affect the ways the dvds were released ?
shareI hope seasons 4 - 6 get released on DVD here in the US. The first two seasons were released by ABC Studios (owned by Disney) and then the home video rights were sold to Lionsgate. Once that happened they released season 3 on DVD, and they also re-released seasons 1 and 2, though the content was exactly the same (cover art - minus slipcover, disc content / count, etc). I just find it odd that the rights were sold to Lionsgate and then they re-released the first 2 seasons and then put out the third. Why sell the home video rights if you're just going to technically only put out one more season on DVD? I know sales are usually a factor but I don't think sales for the first 2 seasons were really that strong to begin with, so I'm just puzzled.
