Storm using Cerebro?!?

Anyone else bothered by this? Someone didn't do their X-Men research.

Now u know why they call me Chicago Wind, fool.

reply

LMAO. Yeah, as much as I love seeing the X-Men used, what was done with them was way off.

reply

It's Reginald Hudling, he never researched the characters.

Guy has an ego the size of Noah's Ark.

reply

It's not just that he didn't do his research. He contradicts himself. In the first or second episode the US leaders are looking at a map of Africa and it clearly shows Wakanda is a land-locked country. But in the last episode he has the Deathlock soldiers walking ashore from a COASTAL beach.

reply

Well all the Black characters in this show have to be awesome.

Nah it doesn't make much sense other than if they featured the real telepaths then they'd be able to fix everything by busing cerebro or by going there and using their powers.

I think the show had to tone down the number of super powered people somewhat and limit their numbers which is probably why we saw so few of the X-men.

But Storm's supposed to have magical powers or something like that.

I dunno, maybe she has some telepathic ability through magic or whatever.

I'd bet the family jewels that none of you on here know your X-Men lore either, because if you did, you'd know that there have been times when X-Men other than Xavier, Jean Grey or another telepath has used Cerebro in the past. Cerebro amplifies telepathy, and Xavier has trained all his students to at least shield their minds from telepathic attack, so it's possible that even low levels of telepathy can power the thing.

Yes, I'm a mormon. That's why I just smoked a pack of Newports and drank three vodka tonics.

reply

Exactly. low level telepaths which storm is not, you obviously need to brush up on your xmen lore.

reply

I don't think you can track him. He has armor that has the same property as magnetos helmet. So that should be a plot hole in an of its self.

reply

I thought Cerebro was for finding mutants and that Juggernaut wan't a mutant but his power comes from a mystic gem.

When it comes to bad writing, bad acting, no one does it like the 'SyFy' channel.
