One thing

I hate the wakandans for one reason and one reason only. They have the cure for cancer but won't share it. So let tons of innocent people die every year even though you have a cure. What a bunch of self centered ego driven assclowns.

That is disgusting, end of story. There is no comeback for that. There is no way that can be justified. I really was giving this show a chance and even though the were really playing up how great the black panther was by having beat captain america up badley and really outclassed him.

I could get into that but that one line just drove me up the wall hate the show, hate a bunch of fictional beings in comic bookland hate the wakandans, can't stand for that.

Don't forget aids....and doing something about the monster ruling Niganda... They have the tech to do whatever they want really, economically dominate their Earth if they wanted. I think its about the view of we take care of ourselves *beep* the rest of the world don't enter our territory.

Eh, I think the way their ego was, the reason for not giving the cure for cancer is because the western powers didn't show they deserved it. And while you could ask, why should we let the people die because of the way their leaders are, it sort of worked into a sort of socio-political statement on how we see some nations as evil, or against us, despite the people not being 100% behind such leader.

Also, I think they just didn't want to hand something over to nations which, of them, were the type who once Wakanda handed over the cure, would probably still not give any to their citizens. If anything, it would have been given to the rich and powerful as the poor still got the same old same old treatment of chemo. At least, that is how I took their position.

They should rename Wakanda "Deus Ex Machina Land" because whatever they need to survive they have already discovered/invented it. A nation that isolates itself tends to be backward and oppressed, North Korea is a perfect example. For some reason Wakanda is the exact opposite but Marvel never seems to explain why. Are Wakandans aliens? It's the one thing that always bothered me about Black Panther in general, and this series made me roll my eyes even more every time a Deus Ex Machina appears (I'm sure every fighter that goes out on patrol has knock out gas air to ground missiles). It's this type of piss poor writing that is going to keep Black Panther forever as a secondary character you only pull out occasionally to meet your ethnic quota for the month.

This one is another fun from years back that I'll wait to see resurface now that the Marvel/Disney version of the movie has landed. Now there is this strain of voices relating Wakanda to the Alt-Right but this type of sentiment is omitted from their attempts to relate and compare the ideologies of Nazism to Wakanda.

A fantasy place like Wakanda strains the western imagination but Asgard passes without notice. Why? Reasons!
