Who liked this show? I decided to give it a try and I think the premise is intriguing and left me curious to see where they go from here.

shareIt's not horrible, but it's not that good yet either, imo. It just reminds me so much of the premise of Knocked Up that I have a problem thinking that anything about it is original.
I would never have guessed that true romance and Detroit would ever go together.
I agree that it was better than expected. If they allow it to develop and not count on the usual formula for odd couples too much, it could do well.

shareIt was pleasantly surprising as far as laughs and writing are concerned. But, I just don't see them being able to go the long-hual in sustaining what is a pretty weak plot. Plus, the lead guy opposite Elfman is a REALLY bad actor, which presents an element of viewer annoyance in contrast to Jenna's reasonably honed chops.

I totally agree with the OP. I said in another thread, i watched it because it was on after HIMYM but now i've set the DVR to record the series, as i'd like to see how it plays out. And i thought it was very cute. Lots of potential.
