The episode title's are random awesome movie names?

Hey, I don't watch the show because...well why would you? It looks awful, but I was on someone's imdb page who has a cameo in the show and I noticed he was in two episodes, and further more the title's on the episodes were "speed" and "speed 2." He's the kinda guy that plays cops, and FBI agents a good bit, so I supposed the episodes might be about a speeding ticket or something, but just to check it out I clicked on the episode list. all of the episode's are randomly titled with movie titles?

The one's I recognize in order are:

Memento (Christopher Nolan's)
The Love Guru (Mike Meyes)
fight Cluib
the god father
the third man
working girl
The Odd couple(s)?
the rock (michael bay)
Face Off (John woo)Lol, two Nicolas cage movies
Back to School (Rodney Dangerfield?)
Speed
speed 2

Like^^^WTF? It could just be a huge coincidence, but none of the episode descriptions seem to have any kind of plot theme relating to those movies in any way.

So, what up with that?

i doubt it's a co-incidence. you'd be surprised how many book chapters/ tv show titles are named after films, books, songs. there's probably a good reason why it's so.

The main character was a film critic. The movie titles they used correspond to the story line for that episode.
