Sequel to 'Rude Awakening'?

What if this was sort of a hidden sequel to the otherwise really great TV show 'Rude Awakening'? It's by the same Claudia Lonow and the main character is also a quirky and witty single woman named Billie.

Perhaps this is what the original Billie would have become if the cliffhanger in the abrupt ending of that show didn't come off well for her (she crushed at the wedding of her former boyfriend).

We can't be lost; we don't know where we're going.
All that matters is that we're going.
