What is the CN thinking

Obviously this show was made in responce to the popularity of Sci-Fi's Ghost Hunter and Ghost Hunters International. I have no problem with that, but what i do have a problem with is that CN isn't even giving the show a chance by putting it on the same night as GH.

Ones subscription only, the other isnt. One is more adult oriented, the other isnt. CN is likely banking on drawing the kids and teens in that the other isnt drawing.

My issue with all this is that its a batch of rip-offs of allready existing shows, except with kids now. Theyve allready been done to death. Its a bit late in the game to trot out these re-treads. They should have tried to come up with some new angle that hasnt allready been overused.

Those are my issues as well. I usually like these kinds of shows, but I'm not looking for any new ones, especially not on CN. I wish Cartoon Network was more trying to raise up the next Seth McFarline, Genndy Tartakovsky, or bring over the next Dragonball.

Still, I'm starting to think the Internet is doing to TV now what it did to music CDs, and soon TV will also be the after thought (like CDs)

Why does it matter what channel a shows on? That's stupid. If you like the show, you like the show; based off of what you see. Not what channel its on.

I think part of the irk there some feel is that its being shown on Cartoon Network. Were, for some odd reason, people expect to see cartoons. This is the sort of shows you'd more expect on Nickelodeon back when it started.

In retrospect, in a way, CN is becoming what NICK once was... weird.

I think I explained why it mattered: because I don't want to watch cartoon network for those kinds of programming.

If a person liked "American Idol" or "The Hills" (for some god-awful reason) would that automatically mean they want to turn to the speed channel to watch their version of "American Idol", or Food Network and see a reality tv show about the spoiled kids of celebrity chefs? How about American Idol the movie instead of Toy Story 3? Can it be possible for a person to like something and prefer something else?

It matters because Cartoon Network was supposed to be a network that showed nothing but cartoons. The motto was "All cartoons, all the time!". The fact that they are loading this kiddie reality TV crap just shows that CN has gotten to the point where Nick was in the late 90s, forsake everything good and just churn out the mindless stuff. For instance, remember back in the day when MTV used to show nothing by music videos, or VH1, for that matter? MTV stands for "Music Television", and VH1 stands for "Video Hits One". Seriously, do we need the latter and more shallow seasons of Real World, or crap like Daisy of Love?
