I've read numerous posts on this movie and it seems everyone says that Italian prostitutes have bad teeth. Is this a known fact or something? Or was it just expected that hookers are supposed to look like junkies?

I think that the world over, there are several classes of prostitutes. Clara could easily been considered as a higher class sex for hire that Jack could afford.

Sure if you're a street hooker.But brothel hookers are usually cleaned up unless its some rundown brothel. Compare the place she worked to maybe the bunny ranch or someplace.
