It was shown at the American Film Market, but there's been no news that it's been picked up by a distributor - it might well remain completely unreleased for some time to come.

Here we are, nearly a year later and NOTHING? Way to kill a movie: don't promote it.

They should at least release it on DVD, or directTV, or even iTunes or someplace, I understand that without a distributor willing to sign on that it's hard to get the movie out there, but there are ways. Movies are meant to be seen, and even if this one is destined to have a small audience it would be nice if those who want to see it were able to. Especially these days with so many options for media distribution that don't really require much upfront cost for those distributing. It doesn't cost that much to get an album of music put up on iTunes so I can't imagine it's that hard or expensive to sell a movie on there either. (Though really I'd prefer a theatrical release, Jennifer Connelly's face is even better 15 tall, but even Salvation Boulevard which was released in theaters didn't come to the ones here in Vermont, so I'm really doubting What's Wrong with Virginia ever will, so I'd settle for buying a digital release online)

Since it is now getting released this spring, I would hope that would mean they will start promoting it soon, a new poster with the adjusted title, some ads, a trailer, some clips, a website would all be nice. It's always a bummer when distributors underpromote a film and it doesn't reach as wide an audience as it could. So hopefully they give this the attention it deserves and it hopefully it gets a wide release so I can see it here in Vermont and not when I'm down in New York (movie tickets are like half the price up here).

The trailer has just gone up on the Apple Trailers site.
