CBS Needs to Reconsider

I hope CBS reconsiders the cancellation of this show. This show is much better than Trauma or Miami Medical. I was never a fan of ER, but I love this show.

I agree. They probably won't reconsider, but they are airing like 3 or 4 more new
episodes on Saturdays this month.

Alex O'Loughlin is already signed up for Hawaii Five-O, so they can't renew it :-/ he's already spoken for lol

Yum, wish I could speak for him. He is delicious!

Alfre Woodward is on board for TNT's Memphis Beat as well. I think a couple of other of the stars are signed up for other projects as well.

Yeah it sux it got cancelled. Which is why I think they ought to give shows at least 1 season to get their audience. Especially after I just saw the ep A Roll of the Dice. It's such a sad ep. I'm glad they're showing the unaired eps though.

Look, I love O'Loughlin's acting and think its a shame that this show failed but I wasnt impressed with the writing. It was too jumpy and they never developed the great characters they started with. The last few episodes started getting intersting when they were working on Andy's past but it was too late. No one watcher ER out of sympathy for the dying people. They watched for the drama between the characters and the writers on Three Rivers were too slow out the gate. Not to mention the crap time slot but seriously, even I wasnt all that excited to see it and I have been following O'Loughlin since Mary Bryant. Oh well, hopefully Hawaii Five-O does well. Thats more his speed anyway.

Oh and I was a bug Moonlight fan but I was watching it the other day and I have to say that I moved it over to the guilty-pleasure pile. The dialogue was just trite. Guess I was blinded by the pecs. I hope this new show has more meaty dialogue and action as that seems to really showcase his abilities. I would love to see him in a more serious role without all the baleful staring.

I used to care but now I take a pill for that.

Agree with this. Without any character development, this show was repetitive week to week... it became predictable. If they had some decent interaction with characters outside the realm of the transplant team from the get go it would have been far more interesting. But it gets boring after awhile if you see the same set up every week.

I agree totally! I wonder how lay people like us could figure that out after one episode and the professionals didn't understand that?

ER was a fantastic show, as are Trauma and Miami Medical. Yes people are saying that apparently they're running out of ideas but this one hasn't been done yet and they have at least semi-decent actors.

This was definitely a great show, which unfortunately fell victim to the slot it was in. Couldn't ever figure out when to watch it, and there were nights where it started already in progress when a game went late. This should have been a weeknight show, not a Sunday night show.
