What is the schedule US release date?

I'm sure it will be very limited opening. However, I'm lucky that i live in Los Angeles, where it more than likely will screen.

There is no US release date set yet. But at least the film has got a US distributor: Sundance Selects.

Pina will be released on Dec 23 2011 in New York, and nationwide in January 2012.

I guess the distributor wants to support its chances for the Oscars. The film is on the Documentatory short list and was submitted by Germany for the Foreign Language category.
