Gives me hope in the world...

I found this film satisfying and familiar in that "Wim Wenders" kind of way, and it gives me hope...That this movie was made, that people are seeing it, that a lot of people "get it," that a lot of really sad, very LOUD, and very irritating people do NOT get it, which proves what John Cleese is saying that stupid people are basically too stupid to even realize how stupid they are...dissing this movie is something like saying a red rose would be better if it was deep fried...that this film has gotten the exposure it has is one little glimpse of hope in an increasingly scary and sad world environment...a little light in the mire...

Sorry but this movie was pretty bad...I'm glad it gave you hope though. It's always wonderful when that is found regardless of how good the work is.

Fortunately no one person is the arbiter of what is good and bad so I confidently and vehemently disagree with your opinion of the quality of this film; I'm rather more sorry you couldn't find what others among us found so enjoyable in it, but that's often the case. I truly hate and find no value in a lot of crass things people enjoy nowadays (TV mostly), so who is missing out, me or the rest?
