Would be better without the Love and Pregnancy

I'm no drama expert but I can't see this Doctor who is barely out of nappies being a love interest for this woman in any situation. Let alone the fact that he's so anally retentive, not a pun, that he would never date a patient if you paid him. It's a ridiculous pairing. Then there's this selfish bitch of a "friend" with this pregnancy nonsense? What's that the cycle of life hammer hitting us on the head with the subtlety of building crashing down. Come off it! Do we really need that tacky crap stuck on top of the implausible relationship?

If they had just focused on the issues at hand, which lets face it, death, loss of career, loved ones, parents losing child before them, dealing with friends, do you tell work colleges, she's just had a promotion, lots and lots of material before the aforementioned ridiculousness (run on sentence police).

In my opinion it would have made for a far better story with far more meaning on a subject that should be taken with a little more reverence than this.
