Live ammunition on a 70 year old museum battleship?

If that battleship was sitting there for 70 years as a museum piece one would think that all the live ammunition would be removed from it while it's on display to general public?

reply

It has not been sitting there for 70 years. The last time it saw action was during the Gulf War.
The Missouri was decommissioned in 1992.

Not happening!

Plus having enough fuel to go out to open sea? WHATEVER!

Those of you who have visited any of the Iowa-class battleship museums might notice the front part of the ship is risen above the water several feet than an active ship. That's because the ship lacks fuel and ammo!

There's a lot of stuff in this movie "Not happening!", if it's supposed to make any realworld sense. ;)

I was greatly entertained though, even if under any kind of scrutiny, it's a stupid ass movie. :D

We weren't prepared in 1941. We're prepared now.
