they gave Guerrero his over the top kill scene at the end. It was like a swan song.

Unfortunately, I knew it was over the minute Fox started delaying production then changing airdates then pre-empting the schedules. It was obvious someone at the network wanted the show dead.
shareActually, it was dead series walking the moment some genius at Fox decided to add Pucci and Ames. The chemistry between Chance, Winston and Guerrero was the glue that held the show together, there was no need to complicate things.
sharePucci and Ames should have been recurring characters instead of main characters. They were on too much and dragged down the show. I knew by episode 5 that Human Target wouldn't be renewed, but I held out hope that it might.

I agree with The Shrike - Once they changed the dynamic of the show and added Pucci and Ames, the show was as good as gone. The greatness of the show was the chemistry that Mark Valley, Chi McBride and Jackie Earle Haley had together. If they wanted to make Pucci the boss, they should've had her like Leon on NCIS, on every now and then or even just maybe one or 2 scenes a show to give them their case or whatnot.

I told my wife (we both watched HT) the same thing and she agreed wholeheartedly. In the first season it had the whole Bond/Bourne feel to it. Then in season 2 it was like all the guys became castrated eunuchs and everything went downhill. Huge mistake adding Pucci.

I HATED Pucci! HATED DEEPLY!
Ames could have been a recurring character twice/season, but when Pucci was added, we quit watching. Tried to suffer through three but stopped them 15 minutes in and deleted each one of them.
The production company completely blew a very good show by trying to nab female eyeballs. Very stupid decision.
