Season 2 DVD/Blu-Ray release?

Does anyone know if Warner Bros. plans on releasing Season 2? I know the show was cancelled, but so was V and that show is getting released this October.

Haven't heard or seen anything myself. Personally though I don't care about season two as it was terrible and will never watch it again(season one I watch all the time). But I haven't seen fox announce anything, as you said other series have already been lined up. It might be because season two was slated and it might not get released ala terriers.

The 'Lie To Me' Season 3 DVD/BR was just announced for October, and that show was axed by FOX at the same time as HT, so fingers crossed; we might see something human-targedy announced for release in November or December...

I would think they would eventually. If you notice WB's pattern, they release their cancelled shows if they go on past a first season. Shows like Eastwick & Past Lives, which only lasted one short season, will probably never see a release. But shows like Pushing Daisies, Life Unexpected & V which were each cancelled after 2 short seasons got season 2 releases. I think they may be waiting until after the fall releases chaos to announce or release it. Then again, they may have it be an exclusive WB online shop item like they have done with Southland season 2 and a few other shows.

@BritCanuck: Lie to Me is distributed by 20th Century Fox, so Human Target’s season 2 DVD release would not be up to them. It is odd that they are even releasing it (LTMs3) though, because 20th is notorious for not releasing their cancelled/ended shows on DVD (The Gates, Better off Ted, NYPD Blue, etc…)

Whatever it may be, I can wait. I just purchased the first season for $14 and am having fun re-watching the episodes all over again from the start.

A while back, someone asked on the Warner Archive Facebook page about whether or not this show's second season would get a DVD release. Warner staff actually respond to inquiries there, and the official response was the the holdup on releasing the second season on DVD was due to music clearance issues. In a day and age when shows are released through a variety of formats (such as DVD), you'd think that the studios would have figured out the music clearance issues in advance for shows by now.

Anyone know when they're releasing both seasons on DVD/bluray internationally??? (ie- outside of the USA)

Sounds like any Season Two DVD/BR release, when it happens, will likely be done on wbshop.com
(where they actually manufacture and release titles on demand). Fingers crossed, knock on wood ...

I don't know if anyone still cares to know but I just wanted to let everyone know that Season 2 will never be released on Blu-ray/DVD so I am debating on whether to keep Season 1 on Blu-Ray/DVD because I don't like having incomplete series.

It took 6 years from WB first released season 1 of Superboy untill they released the next season, it took 4 years between Fresh Prince season 4 and 5, and it took Disney 8 years to release the final volume of Tale Spin (not counting the exclusive version they released in 2013).
Not saying that you are wrong about it never being released, but sometimes we just have to be patient.
Do you have any idea how long I've waited for the Batman '66 series to be released on any format at all? Now it finally happened.
