Who is your favorite?

I'm curious to see who everyone's favorite original Greendale 7 member is. One person from the original group. No Dean, no Chang, no Hickey/Duncan/Frankie/Elroy, no Troy AND Abed, no ranking list. Only your one favorite. Just like your same sex celebrity crush you know you have one. I'm curious to see if there's diversity.

After much thought I can say that Pierce was my favorite member of the original study group. He resulted in many amazing jokes.

"Because I can't think of anything more frightening than a half-Arab, half-Polish virgin in his thirties. One way or another that ends with an explosion."

"My platform is one high enough to push Vicki off to her death."

Me too. Abed is the man.

Troy would be my second option.

Annie, but Britta is a very close second.

Britta became my favourite during season 3 and now when I rewatch the first two seasons I can't believe she wasn't my favourite from the beginning.

Most people who have replied so far have said Annie. She was always the study group member I overlooked. What about her do you guys love?

I don't know if it's Annie or Allison Brie who is my favorite, but I just love watching her and watching her react and her reactions to what the other characters are saying.

She's just so damn cute and I think Allison makes the most of the lines Annie gets. To quote Stockholm Annie, "Why does the sun come up...? Why do children sing? Why birth? Why death? Why this whole box of Cracker Jack between...?

I love them all for various reasons. Early on my fave was probably Troy, but as I completed several watch throughs, I came to really appreciate Annie. Now I'll admit, I have a MASSIVE celebrity crush on Alison, but I do truly enjoy Annie as a character. Her Type A personality combined with all of her neuroses make her amazingly entertaining and she can do big as well as subtle. I love her competiveness as well as her manipulative side but also the side of her that truly cares about people. I find that I am so proud of the woman Annie has become over the course of the series, especially given what a low point she was at just prior to the series beginning including a complete lack of support from her parents. She's gotten to be the amazing woman she is today largely on her own and managed to retain a positive outlook on life and people.

Annie has been placed in a wide range of situations over the course of the series and handled almost all of them with aplomb and true humanity. Having seen every episode multiple, multiple times I have come to the conclusion that Alison is perhaps the most complete actor on the show, able to handle any emotion effortlessly. Her portrayal of Annie is a large part of what keeps me coming back. I feel like the scope of her acting talent has yet to be fully explored and I hope to see a lot of Alison in the future....(and hopefully some more of Annie, at some point).
