It's hard to pick between the 1st three seasons. It's a toss up. But 2nd favorite would have to be season five. Yes, season 5! Yes, it didn't have a couple of the main characters and it changed a lot. And that's all the more reasons for it to be at the top. I can't see any other shows keeping the same standards if two of it's lead left. I can't see Kramer leaving Seinfeld, along with Elaine. Or Joey leaving Chandler, plus, someone like Gunther or Janice (a 3rd Friend is too big for Piers). Or Barnie leaving, with Lilly in HIMYM. They really explored the rest of the secondary characters.

I don't think season 4 was bad at all, either. If anything it was too short.

2, 1, 3, 6, 5, 4. You should rewatch 6. It kicks the living crap out of 4 at the very least and it is not nearly as depressing as season 5.

I actually liked season 6. It's very underrated. They brought in some characters from the far left field and it ends up working actually. I didn't watch the finale and I don't plan on it. That way I can just keep this show on loop and pretend like it never actually ended!

A) I already wrote why I picked 5. It doesn't seem like you bothered to read it.

A) I read it hence the reply because it makes no sense whatsoever. When primary characters of a show leave, it creates a void and more so when some of them are the most loved by the fanbase. No one cares for the likes of Dean, Garrett, Chang,Buzz Hickey etc as much as Pierce and Troy. Even the writing got lazy halfway through the season. The fact that you even have 4 over 3 which has some of the best individual episodes of the series shows you don't even understand what makes Community tick.
B) Yes, everyone has an opinion but that doesn't make it any less idiotic like in this case.

And yeah, everyone who invalidates your opinion doesn't make him a troll... your opinion is shared by virtually no one and there's a reason for it. When you come on a message board and share a stupid opinion, prepare to be mocked for it !!!

It's an opinion on what MY FAVORITE season is. I didn't say which season was the best or worst, I simply listed my own favorite season. You're telling me that I don't know what MY OWN favorite season is and my own opinion on what my favorite season is wrong? 😂 😂

I never said it's wrong, I said it's stupid and that's MY OPINION, why are you getting your pants in a bunch, just ignore it if you don't like it....LOL

If someone says he likes the smell of a garbage dump, it is still an opinion but anyone with a sane mind would think that something is wrong with that person... if someone says Dude Where's my Car is his favorite movie ever, yeah I would think that person is insane ( assuming that's not the only movie he has ever watched ) or just doesn't understand what makes a movie good similarly you holding this opinion makes me feel you have a screw loose somewhere since you don't understand the essence of the show and what makes it tick.

I have literally not come across a single person who called 4 better than 3 and 5, let alone 5 as their favorite and I've been part of the fandom for a long time so yeah... your opinion is senseless and by sharing it you literally made a fool of yourself.

LOL, I don't have civil discussions with idiots.. plenty of fools on the Internet, so I reserve them for people who actually are capable of reason.

Interestingly you didn't even provide a rebuttal for my examples because deep down you know it's true...LOL

You may not be outspoken about it ( I'm blunt which is why it hurt your feelings ) but would label someone who genuinely considers a rubbish movie as their favorite ever or genuinely likes the odour of a garbage dump as a big, fat idiot or consider him insane ( actually you won't because you're a part of that group but reasonable people would )... that's what I think of you when you put Season 5 above others.

Opinions are like *beep* everyone has them but that doesn't make every opinion equally valid and well informed. Your choice is a clear sign you have trouble appreciating some art forms.... take some film and television appreciation courses and may be you would understand what you've been missing ( highly doubt it but worth a try ).

As for the rest of the *sane* Community fans, if you wish to share your own favorite season, feel free to do so below. Remember, this isn't about what's the best or the worst season, which is debatable. It's about what's YOUR own favorite season.

I've updated my list. Season 5 is now favorite season out of all the seasons, even with all its flaws and Troy-less

Oh, I'm absolutely triggered by a random person on the internet telling me which season can or cannot be my fav! As if I died and made you the king of my choices. You gave me enough reasons to be triggered. While you're triggered by my preference that has zero effect on you and chose to lash out. I think it's time you reevaluate your life bud.

Season 1 is my favorite. I love seeing the study group getting to know each other. And some noticeable transformations by each member.

And I miss Pierce in those turtlenecks.

I think season 1 pretty much developed all the main characters and their interaction as you said, except for Abed. He was still very complex (well, he never not was haha). He and Troy really hit it off in the later seasons. For me though, only reason I have season two ahead of season one, is because they really went out and blew up what worked in season one x10 more. I.e Paintball, Forts. Also, they really focused on secondary characters, even the background characters. IDK many other shows where they had so many well-developed, recognizable "special" secondary characters.

But Pierce really screwed this up for all. I remember right around season 3 or 4 he had a fallout. He became a distraction. I think that's where things started to go south for the show. They changed air time/date and all that nonsense. If it ran smoothly I think it'd have gone for come of more season. And the shade they threw at Pierce when he was gone in season 5 is gold!

Freaking TBBT still on the air! That really pisses me off.
