Beautiful movie. Sci-Fi for grown ups. Recommended.

Doubly so if you liked the "Solaris" remake.

If only you could see what I have seen with your eyes.

Totally agree, what an underrated gem

I loved it!!! The story was was unique and compelling with some superb acting. Remember, this is something that could happen tomorrow. 10/10

Look at the night sky, where does it end?

I thought it was amazing! This film will keep me thinking for days.

I will also recommend it to certain adults that are not opposed to "not-so-happy" endings. I will have to check out Solaris now. I assume you are referring to the 2002 remake, but the 1972 is more highly rated. Which did you prefer? Thanks.

Ps. I find it amusing when adults refer to themselves as "grown-ups". ;)

Hi lulupalooza,

Glad we concur and personally prefer the 2002 "Solaris".

Soderbergh's remake is more accessible and human than Tarkovsky's glacial original and IMO shares an intimate vibe with "Perfect Sense".

PS: Used "Grown ups" rather than "Adults" to underscore that some Sci-Fi is for "Children".

It's funny because I HATE Solaris (the remake) - it is so boring, bland, ridiculous, confusing .... I love Perfect Sense though! I absolutely love cerebral Sci-Fi movies (BIG Star Trek fan) and TV shows.

I just couldn't stand Solaris ....
