What happend to this?

I have been waiting since last year for this film to appear at Theaters and have not heard anything about it since last sunner (2013)

If you go on the movie's Facebook page, they tell you that they are in the final post production phase and we will soon hear how and when we can watch this movie. I guess the version of the film shown in Cannes, was only a very rough cut version of the film. It got very bad reviews.

Any news on if this has been released on DVD?? It's been 3 years.

Hollywood is completely terrified of people over the age of thirty. What would happen if this were released and were a huge critical and commercial success? Next thing you know the actors from the Twilight series will be flipping burgers.

It's been premiered:

Although just an extra in one scene of the film, I have been curious too. As the previous message indicated from arisdisc, film has premiered and Indiewire article gives reason for earlier negative review at Cannes showing and discusses current revised version of the film. Partial extract: "....Shot in early 2013, "Rose" has endured a post-production process unlike almost any other film. News of Lewis’s first role in two decades attracted an invitation from the 2013 Cannes Film Festival, forcing the filmmakers to submit an early cut of the movie that writer/director Daniel Noah says was little more than an assembly. "It was rough," Noah said. "The movie was not ready and we all knew it." After a reception that Noah calls "very mixed," it took more than two years to figure out the logistics of recutting the film, during which time Noah launched production company SpectreVision with Elijah Wood and producer Josh Waller.

Despite the misstep at Cannes, Noah says the final version of "Rose" is exactly the movie he always had in his head. Lewis stars as a retired jazz musician whose wife of 65 years Eva (Claire Bloom) has just died. After discovering an intimate note from another man written to Eva in 1959, Rose begins to question the strength of his marriage and starts looking for clues to identify Eva’s suitor."

3 years after it was sot. I guess hopes for it being a critical success will not be high.

It's that man again!!

I don't care what Cannes thinks of this movie or anybody. I gotta see it. Maybe Amazon has it?
