Question about the buffed out germaphobe

Sorry if this was explained later in the episode, I started watching the show but the lady that wore her dead dad’s clothes and walked around her room was unwatchable so I changed the channel.
So this guy is so afraid of germs that he can’t have carpet in his house or sleep in his own bed, but he obviously works out a lot. He looked to be (from what I saw in watching 15 minutes of the show) in pretty incredible shape for somebody in his 40’s.
I can think of few places other than a hazmat disposal site with more germs than a health club. I am only mildly germaphobic and I can hardly walk in one without feeling like I need a shower and a bottle of iodine. People sweating all over the weights and machines and not wiping them down. Its disgusting.
So did they say what he does to to stay in that kind of shape?

It didnt say if he goes to a gym or has one in his house. By the looks of his house (really nice!) I would assume he has a home gym, but I'm not quite sure...and yeah, the lady who wore her dead father's clothes was disturbing.

And what about his tattoos???? Seems to me that getting one would be a germaphobe's worst nightmare considering the process....

lots of gay ppl don't like the buttsexx. there's plenty of other ways to be together..

There was an extra video online of his extensive gym cleaning routine. Also, OCD is not a logical thing. It's not like the things they do make sense and actually protect them from whatever they fear, it's an obsession with doing rituals they think will keep them safe. So there are obviosly going to be contradictions in their behavior, he can't actually avoid all germs, but that doesn't mean he is faking it or "just a cry baby" as one idiotic poster put it. Where is your compassion people.

I was so pissed that he was gay. He was sooooo my type and so was his life partner. I would do them both together.
