There was a song in a restaurant where aishwaryas character, the nurse, starts playing imaginery music instruments.. She looked so dumb and amature and her dance movements didnt go with the song not even one bit.. And it didnt make sense for her character to do that..

For a nurse, her character had way too much attitude and she was literally painted with make up.. She isnt aging well at all.. She probably had attitude cos she wasnt being paid for her job cos ethan was more than broke..

"If you cant see the light at the end of the tunnel, march down there and switch it on yourself"

wow, did you even see the movie, or just a promo? Because this scene made a lot of sense to me. She's strait-laced, strict, demure. But because she loves Ethan, she decides to "let down her hair" to cheer him up - and it does! I agree that some of the air drum part seemed awkward, but there was nothing awkward about the way she moved as she was dancing. As for aging - she was playing a mature character, and she did it beautifully. She's still one of the most graceful beautiful women in the world - and good for her for being willing to explore a character like this one.

I loved that scene too, where she just let go. Even better was her subtle expression when she returned back to her usual self.

That was one of my favorite scenes; every thing about it makes sense to me.
