Good film

Great performances and a really moving and touching true life story that has an effect on many. I know that I have sisters of my grandfather who were kids sent from Liverpool to Australia many years ago. My mum tells me she often wondered about her dad's 2 sisters and what became of them.
That is one example of someone who viewed it with an emotional attachment as - even though I never met that grandfather of mine (my mum was 15 when he died) it is still my blood and I know I have ancestors who were some of these kids taken to Australia.
Great film and I never watch films with my mum (she's not a film fan- prefers TV) but I got her to sit down and watch this with me and we were both touched and saddened by it.
