6.4? What a JOKE! More like 3.4
One of the worst movie ever. Probably the worst remake of a cult classic. Stupid audiences!

shareDisagreeing with you makes no one stupid.
I give it a 10.0.
Actors do not have a job...they have a blast!
please you problably never watched the original movie
shareActually I did. It was great as well.
There's room for both versions to be great, at least for me.
Everything doesn't have to be a competition. I just enjoy both versions, but especially the remake.

"Please"?? What the *beep*?? Are you Ru Paul?
Toss-pot.
I think this movie should be an example of how to properly remake a movie.
shareNah, I think it should be high 6's. 6.7-6.8.
shareI think it is a 3/10 film as well, and much worse than the great 1985 film, but it seems many people like it and I respect their opinion.

shareAgree, deserves the worst remake award even Colin Farrel himself said it was rubbish compared to the original. Turning Peter Vincent into a pimp? Seriously?
shareFor me the memory of the 1985 Fright Night was better than watching it again in 2016. When I sat down to watch Fright Night 2011 at the cinema I thought it was going to be terrible. I really enjoyed it and prefer it to the dated 1985 version.
shareI hate remakes, love the original, but as far as horror remakes (or whatever you want to call it) - it was ok - a guilty pleasure IMO
