I can not see this movie if the dog dies......please tell me it doesnt!!

reply

Yes the dog dies... it gets eaten by the survivors ... the blond girl is so hungry that they all decide to eat the dog... sorry

reply

yep ah-huh.

reply

You think it died but then it pops up towards the end :)

reply

No the dog didnt die so you can watch it with ease. They made it look like it dies but then near the end it came back.

reply

phew! thanks!!! I cant stand seeing animals die/get hurt in movies....people i am fine with! but not animals, especially dogs!!

reply

Don't watch this movie. They killed the poor sharks. Those bastards!

reply

The liberals that made this movie decided it's alright for people to die but it's horrible if a dog does....go figure.

reply

Aaawww...poor uneducated conservative doesn't like that people are sensitive about innocent animals being killed.Conservatives are so dumb.

reply

I'm a conservative leaning Libertarian and I don't like seeing animals die in movies. And I'm certainly not dumb. Don't generalize us all just because of one dummy on IMDB. I mean, a dummy on IMDB? Dime a dozen.

reply

Why do jerks always make fun of those that don't like to see animal deaths? It's a no-brainer as to why people are more sensitive to them than seeing people slaughtered on film...and no, it doesn't mean we all think that animals are "worth more" than human beings. It's the same reason folks don't like to see kids hurt in films too...it's the helpless factor. For the human characters, we're all thinking about what we'd do/they should do in dangerous situations and mentally scoring them and their reactions (aka the "don't investigate that strange noise in the dark, you twit" syndrome). For the most part, people in horror movies do stupid things. Therefore we sort of have a Darwin Award reaction to their demise. However, animals and kids are innocent in our minds (unless it's an annoying kid or some sort of vicious animal...hence our lack of general pity for the sharks in this film). We want to protect them, and we get frustrated and mad when we think their deaths could have been avoided.

And yeah, I know it's a movie. Nobody would be rooting for a bratty kid to get eaten or killed in real life, duh. I also know the dog in Snakes on a Plane is alive and well and perhaps even starring in this shark film all these years later. Even so, like every rational person, I tend to avoid things that make me feel really bad.

reply

You are beyond moronic! I'm a liberal and I get annoyed that the producers and directors don't dare to kill of kids and animals in horror movies. So your "argument" is pretty invalid.
But again, logical arguments are not conservatives' strong point.

Don't mistake hate speech for free speech. Remember, hate speech kills!

reply

You are funny. You say "logical arguments" in a post filled with nothing but logical fallacies. I see "circular reasoning" and "ad Hominem" attacks (to name just two) and no logic at all. Either you are uneducated and don't know any better, or you know you're an idiot and just hope everyone around you swallows your bull.

Does the dog die? - Unfortunately not.

it doesn't die, Kyle throws it in the water instead on Ryan's upside down van. But we later see it floating on something and swims over to Heather at the upside down van and survives until the end :D

reply

You didn't watch the whole movie...

reply

No. But I kinda wanted it to lol. And I HATE when dogs die in movies!

reply

oh no! the dog was gorgeous!!! i was so glad when that guy who threw the dog at the shark came off second best!
