reminds me of FUBAR, rip-off status anyone?
I haven't seen this film yet, and I will be watching it in about 10 days on DVD (because im in the US) but I can't help but notice that this movie looks and feels a lot like a British version of the cult Canadian mockumentary titled "FUBAR" or *beep* up beyond all repair (i think thats what it stands for). the theme of resilience while hilarity ensues involving stereotypical kitschy characters, esp the main guy, seems like a ripoff of FUBAR to me.
