Very Even Handed Telling of Farrah's Struggle

Farrah has Producer credits for this excellent special. The documentary covers all apsects of her battle with cancer including treatments, family, friends, and invasive media attention. She gets even with the Enquirer for their unkind and inflamatory stories about her. But, everything about this ongoing situation is handled without becoming a cheesy, overwrought, sob story. I gained a renewed appreciation for Farrah Fawcett and the supportive people in her life, especially Ryan O'Neal and Farrah's friend Alana Stewart.

This is a wonderful testament to bravery, grace, and humor. It is also a call for more awareness on the topic of cancer treatment options and what is lacking in the U.S. in that regard.

I enjoyed every minute of this documentary. Farrah Fawcett should be extremely proud of this. We are reminded again of her great intellect as well as her inner beauty, unfailing sense of humor, and dignity. Mostly, she provides solid inspiration for anyone fighting for survival of an insidious disease such as cancer. I feel privelaged to have watched this and remain hopeful for Farrah.

Hang in there Farrah. I've been a fan since just out of high school (Class of 1975). Between you and Peter Frampton there were no other icons that even came close back then, right?
