Does Scott Adkins get to showcase his fight skills?

Does this movie have good scenes with Scott Adkins doing his crazy awesome acrobatic kicks and such similar to Undisputed 2&3 ... or is it mainstream hollywood with lots of gunplay and quick cuts and shaky cam?

A bit of both! I was surprised at how much this movie didn't shake and cut back and forth between extreme closeups. It does have that, but it's a huge imporvement, this one actually looks like a "legit" movie. Scott does some of his trademark stuff, but the way it's edited together is not to his advantage.

I think it would have been different had it been made 10 years ago. Van Damme is over 50 now, and probably can't pull of the kind of aerial kicks and stunts he did then. Adkins is on his way up, and is a better technician than JCVD. My guess is since Adkins plays second banana in this, he had to "tone back" his mad skills so as not to outshine Van Damme. Also, in this gritty movie, the flip kicks and crazy stunts probably would not fit the mood. It is more of a realistic movie, so while they both do show some cool moves, it doesn't go overboard, like you might see in Ninja or Undisputed. Still, a suprisingly good movie. Check it out!

It's nowhere near Undisputed 2 and 3.

He has great scenes fit for an assassin and not an mma fighter. I liked the over the top fights in undisputed 2/3 but this was better and more realistic. Scott definetly comes off as the more agile and technical fighter between him and JCVD in this movie.
