My husband and I literally laughed throughout this whole movie! It was so bad it was funny, the acting, the CGI, the dialogue, everything about it was so ridiculous and hilarious, even though it wasn't supposed to be. And what was up with all of the explosions??

-"Over 3,000? We don't stand a chance..."
I was rooting for the quake, and was upset that the RV family and the seismololgist's hubby and daughter came out of this in one piece.
I love cheesy movies as much as anyone, and SYFY has never let me down.
This movie is SO SO great my favorite part was when Eriq Lasalle sees his moms house explode and they do that slow mo with his head above his hands which seems to last for a full 3 minutes. LOL!

I missed the beginning, turning on the TV just before Blondie finds Eriq in his buried truck. I'm born and raised in San Francisco and have seen and felt many quakes, but I've never seen one act like a zipper. This movie is simply hysterical!
Looking at the Syfy lineup for today (Polar Storm, Ice Twisters, Stonehenge Apocalypse, Storm Wars, Meteor Storm) it looks like a fun night.
And Odessa is not that unusual a name for Southern blacks, actually.
