Brittany was an actress. And when the pickings get slim, actors will take the paycheck and least take the opportunity/part to sharpen their acting skills.

This movie is on SYFy right now and it is sad to see her. She looks bad and probably felt she was turning the corner. But unfortunately we know better. We see her sunken eyes, teeth and dry hair...and it's as if she were dying right in front of us.

And today is her Birthday. Read her bio and know that she led a more incredible life than you've ever known.

I usually leave bad SyFy flicks playing in the background when I'm working on other stuff. But, seeing Brittany Murphy in this was really sad. I like a lot of her roles, but she looks just as you said. Like we're seeing an addicted friend at rock bottom and probably for the last time.

I couldn't even leave this one on.
