Loved the film

Sure the topic is a rather tad uncomfortable even in 2011, but the material is funny in a very subtle English way without being outright rude.
Hugh Dancy has a lot of screen presence as the idealist doctor. Maggie Gyllenhaal is okay but not ideal. I always have a standard bias against actors pretending to be English. Jonathan Pryce is excellent as always, and Rupert Everett as the quirky inventor puts an interesting spin on things. This is a humorous period piece and not meant to be a documentary on the history of vibrators.

I did too. It was funny and the acting was pretty good. 8/10.
