Could have gotten away 20 or more times

Well acted and twisted dont make a good movie? The first one was brutal! So stop with the "so much better then the original" that's easy. But no matter how good, the fact that the people could have gotten away at least 15 times, makes this movie a joke. Cop says to blink eyes twice. Well the fact he said it out loud makes that scene laughable! Couldn't be a bigger oxymoron. Or they all get knives and team up on the toughest son, yet when Mom comes down, all back to sitting down. Huh? Why would put power back on? Hide and kill her. God, I enjoyed the characters and how twisted they were, but when you got so many chances to get away and just sit there? Ruined it! Guy in a fog and shoots GF/wife and the girl is litterly on the surgery table when she comes too is beyond laughable. Would be under by then. God what a joke. And all this could have been avoided if they just locked them up.

LOL, yes, this movie was ridiculous. When Melissa wakes up during surgery cogent enough to write on the white board that was just hilarious.

I totally agree with your assessment. I liked the acting, especially from Rebecca De Mornay but man, I felt no tension or concern for the characters because they were so stupid and selfish. The number of missed double-taps alone... my god.
