Non participants shut the *beep* up

In elimination rounds they are shouting advice to those downstairs. Is this a competition or what where you want your rivals gone.
If they do not have that competitive spirit they should not be there but stay at home. Stop wasting everyone's time.
Everyone should be in elimination rounds so they can stay focus on wining for themselves, Dumb asses.

Doesn't mean they don't want to help their friends. In a competition, you should win by your skills, not by your competitor's blunders.

In a competition you win by any means necessary. You should stick to knitting socks by a fireplace and munch stale brownies.

I agree with Ithilfan, if you're comfortable with your skills there is no problem with helping others.
Besides, the people on the balcony are already in for the next step and only one person will leave. Why not help your friend?

What I really hate is when they are shouting encouragements to people when they're NOT on the balcony.Noelene almost started crying because she couldn't take it!!!

They should lock all the non participants in a soundproof room and let them watch the participants cook on tv.

If the peanut gallery directs a person step by step, then it isn't that person's dish, it's the peanut gallery's dish and they didn't win on their own merit. The person should win or fail based on their OWN talent or lack thereof. That is why they are down there in elimination in the first place, they belong there and should win on THEIR OWN TALENT, not on a friend's talent. If they win because their friend told them step by step on what to do, that's wrong. No matter if it's your friend or not, they should win on their own talent, not the peanut gallery's talent. If they fail, then that's their loss based on their talent level or knowledge level. Shouldn't have anything to do with friends or not. I've seen older contestants in elimination without as many friends as the younger ones, yet all the young contestants up in the peanut gallery are yelling down to their younger friend on exactly how to win, how is that a fair elimination? It's not. The contestant would have lost if it wasn't for all the help. That's not a fair elimination.
